What is IBPS CWE (PO):
- This is the exam held for recruitment to nationalized banks in India for jobs of Probationary Officer(PO).
- The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts a Common Written Examination (CWE) on behalf of 21 nationalized banks as a pre-requisite for selection of Probationary Officers.
- IBPS is only the body conducting the written test. The vacancies in individual banks as well as the group discussion and personal interview process are managed by each participating bank separately.
There will be 19 Nationalised Public Sector Banks (PSBs) which will be participating with the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) in the recruitment process. So, a banking aspirant needs to qualify in IBPS Examination in order to apply to the banks mentioned below for a certain designated post.

Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognised university or equivalent.
Age Limit:
- Minimum age is 20 years and maximum age is 30 years. Age relaxation provided to reserved categories candidates.

Nationality:
Candidate must be either:
- a) Citizen of India, or
- b) Subject of Nepal, or
- c) Subject of Bhutan, or
- d) Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the January 1, 1962 with the intention of permanently settle down in India, or
- e) A person of Indian origin who has migrated from, Burma, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, East African countries such as Kenya, Zaire, Uganda, The United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi and Ethiopia with the intention of permanently settle down in India.

How to Fill IBPS PO Application Form 2018?
- Registration: Firstly, click on the direct link “Apply Online Here” provided above. Now candidates have to click on “Click Here for New Registration” The candidates will have to register themselves by filling the basic information such as name, date of birth, age, email id, gender, category, communication address, mobile number. After successful registration, provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system. Candidates will receive the same via SMS and email.
- Upload Photograph and Signature: Now candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature as per the specifications.
- Filling up Details: Now, candidates have to fill educational qualification and languages. After entering all the details, candidates need to click on “Next” button.
- Pay Application Fee: Now, candidates need to pay application fee. Candidates can pay application fee thru debit card, credit card & net banking. On successful online payment, e-receipt will be generated. Now candidates can take a printout of submitted application form.
IBPS PO Application Fee and Mode of Payment
Application Fee:
- Application fee for General and OBC candidates is Rs. 600 and application fee of Rs. 100 for SC, ST, PwD and Ex-S candidates.
Mode of Payment:
- Candidates can pay application fee thru online only. Candidates can make the payment thru any credit / debit card or net banking.
IBPS PO Online Application Form 2018: Essential Details
- Candidate can apply only one application form.
- Application form with blurred photograph will be rejected.
- Incomplete online application form will be rejected.
- In case the candidate is unable to fill the application form in one go, he/she can save the data already entered. They can re-open the saved data using the provisional registration number and password and can edit the incomplete application form.
- No changes in the application form will be entertained after the final submission of the application form. Your candidature can be cancelled during the verification, if provided information found false.
IBPS PO 2018 Selection Procedure
Selection process includes three steps:
- 1st Step: Preliminary Examination (Objective Type) (100 Marks)
- 2nd Step: Main Examination (Objective Type) (200 Marks)
- 3rd Step: Interview (100 Marks)
Note: The preliminary exam is only qualifying in nature. The marks obtained in the preliminary examination will not be added for the selection and the marks obtained in main examination & interview will be considered only.
IBPS PO Preliminary Exam Pattern 2018
- Preliminary examination which will be conducted online.
- Preliminary exam will have objective type questions for 100 marks & 3 sections namely (1) English Language, (2) Quantitative Aptitude and (3) Reasoning Ability.
- The exam duration would be 1 hour.
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. If a question left blank, there will be no negative marking for that question.

IBPS PO Main Exam Pattern 2018
- Main examination which will be conducted online.
- The exam duration is 2 hour 20 min.
- Main examination will consist of objective type questions for 200 marks. The questions will be divided into five sections such as
(1) Reasoning
(2)EnglishLanguage,
(3)QuantitativeAptitude,
(4) General Awareness (Banking)
(5) Computer Knowledge.
- There will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. If a question left blank, there will be no negative marking for that question.
- Main exam question paper will be set in both English & Hindi.

IBPS PO Result 2018: Essential Points
